Adobe LiveCycle XFA PDF Form Setup

LiveCycle Setup Part I

Here are the setting in order to parse LiveCycle Form data (XDP) with FDF Toolkit .net.

  1. Select "Button"
  2. Select "Submit" radio option
  3. Click "Submit" Tab
  4. Provide URL to script
  5. Select XDP Data Package
  6. Uncheck Annotations
  7. Uncheck PDF
  8. Select UTF-8

LiveCycle Setup Part II

Here are the setting to use when saving LiveCycle Forms to in order to merge XDP data with LiveCycle forms using FDF Toolkit .net.

  1. Go to menu item "File"=>Save As
  2. Select type Acrobat 6,7,8 "Static" PDF form
LiveCycle Setup: SaveAs - Static Only

LiveCycle Setup Part III

Set XFA form field binding properties to normal.

  1. Click the form field
  2. Select "Binding" tab under the field object properties
  3. Set binding property to "Normal"
